The Sumner County Administration Building offices will reopen on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 8:00am. In order to maintain services for Sumner County Government, to protect and provide a safe environment for all individuals and employees; all individuals and employees entering the building will be required to undergo a screening process to access the building. All individuals must enter and exit through the building entrance on Tulip Poplar Drive. A series of questions will be asked and individuals will be required to have their temperatures taken. If found to have a fever, the individual will not be permitted to enter the building. Individuals will be required to keep a six foot distance from others to maintain social distance. The number of individuals will be limited in County offices to maintain social distance. We encourage County business to be completed online or by phone or drive thru, if possible. Thank you for your compliance and patience during this time. We will send out additional guidance to county offices on Wednesday, April 29th.
We must act responsible at this time to ensure that our actions do not jeopardize others, such as our elderly population and those among us who have compromised immune systems. It is extremely important for people to take extra precautions in our community during this pandemic because the COVID-19 can be transferred from person to person who are considered asymptomatic at the time. Please continue to practice social distancing. With all of us working together we will get through this pandemic.
Best Regards and God Bless,
