Moving from another Tennessee county
You should have previously been issued a Tennessee plate and title
|
- All Sumner County passenger and light duty vehicles are required to be tested for emissions before we can renew the plate. (You can show your renewal notice or last years registration to be tested.)

- Once your vehicle has passed the emission test, come to one of our Clerk's Offices.
|
- The fee to renew a reqular passenger plate is $74.75. We will validate your registration and issue a Sumner strip to go on the bottom of your plate.
