Decal

When your plate is issued, the month of expiration is affixed to the plate.  Your registration will expire on the last day of this month.

Expiration
YEAR

The expiration year is in the top right corner of the plate.  During a new plate issue the year is preprinted.  Starting January 2007, registration decals will be issued.  The decal will go on top of the last expiration year.  Both your State and County fees are included in the same registration.  No Wheel Tax decal is required in Sumner County.

County Name

The county name strip is placed on each plate issued in Sumner County.  If plate was purchased through a dealer in another county, you can receive a Sumner strip by having your vehicle tested for emissions and paying the wheel tax.
